Are you a CPA Member?
The Psychology Foundation of Canada (PFC) provides opportunities for CPA members to make charitable gifts to meet public and professional needs for psychology-related information, services, programs and research. The PFC is the new home for the charitable activities of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), continuing the work of the CPA Foundation (CPAF).
The Foundation also manages four legacy funds honouring late CPA members: The Dr. Bea Wickett Fund advances education by encouraging and recognizing contributions made to mental health in elementary and secondary school systems; the Dr. Mary J. Wright Fund recognizes the best student papers in the History and Philosophy of Psychology presented at the CPA Conference; the Dr. Jean Pettifor and Dick Pettifor Scholarship Fund supports graduate student research in the area of professional ethics, or international ethics for psychologists, with special focus on diversity, such as ethnicity, gender and disability; the Dr. Harvey and Grace Brooker Education Fund helps students with travel to conferences and workshops.
